Best Replacement For Safe-T-Alert 30-441-P RV Propane Gas Detector

Question:

Will this directlyinch replace a Safe-T-Alert 30-441-P detector. Ours is alarming, but I realized after looking at a photo Id taken that my replace every 60 monthsinch detector is about 8 years old. If this will replace it, then I will get it.

Hello Scott, thanks for reaching out. The RV Propane Gas and Carbon Monoxide Detector # RS34FR can be used to replace your Safe-T-Alert 30-441-P detector but this is not a direct replacement. Basically, you will just want to be sure you have room for mounting the new detector. Ours has mounting holes that are 3-5/8" apart on the detector, and it has a small 5-3/4" long x 4-1/4" wide bracket and a larger 7-1/4" long x 3-3/8" wide bracket. As long as you have room for it, the # RS34FR will work great for you. It has a 5 year lifespan which is standard for detectors. If yours is 8 years old it should be replaced immediately.

Jesse, Thank you. I need to disconnect what i have anyway....that 30-second beep is annoying. I'll take some measurements to make sure and the order. I do appreciate the quick response. Scott

@ScottW Oh yea there is no way I could camp with that thing beeping every 30 seconds that would drive me crazy! They are usually pretty easy to replace so as long as it fits you can be sure it will work. Feel free to come back anytime you need anything.
