Recommended TPMS For A Dually Truck And Trailer To Monitor Both Temp And Pressure

Updated 01/19/2026 | Published 08/04/2024

Question:

I want to monitor dually truck and trailer tire Pres/Temp. I have used TireTraker TT-600 but tricky to program and often loose trailer tire reception even with booster. I like its ease to check all the tire P/T quickly. Is there a better TPMS?

Hey Steve,

Since you're wanting to monitor both the dually and trailer and would need 8-10 sensors I recommend the TireMinder i10 TPMS for RVs and Trailers w/ Signal Booster # TM56FR. The sensors check the temp and psi every six seconds to help alert you right away in the event anything falls outside the preset range. The monitor flips back and forth every few seconds between a front view and rear view which you can use to set both the truck and trailer so you can see both without having to press any buttons. This system is one of the more popular options for motorhomes that have come through our shop.

I've attached a short video below where Shane will walk you through using and installing this system.

Hey Steve, how did the TireMinder i10 TPMS work out for monitoring your truck and trailer tires? It sounds like the quick sensor updates and dual display could make a big difference. Your feedback could help others looking for a more reliable setup.

Bought a new truck with Ford TPMS and trailer with TST-507 both with factory-installed internal sensors.
