I just bought a 2024 RAM 2500. I am wondering if this fits that truck. I see a custom installation kit recommended, but I cant figure out what that is.

Hey Wayne congrats on the new truck! The center section of the B&W item # BWGNRC920 does not fit your 2024 RAM 2500 but I have one that does. It is the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit item # BWGNRK1320. This hitch is custom fit and includes all hardware necessary to complete installation on your Ram. It has a massive 30,000 lbs capacity.
To make towing with a gooseneck trailer easier, I recommend adding the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole and 4-Pole Connector item # C56070. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your Ram truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your gooseneck trailer easier and more convenient.
I have attached a couple of installation videos below along with the instructions so you can see how to get these parts set up.
