Replacement AC For Old Coleman-Mach
Published 08/04/2023 >
Question:
My current AC on my RV is Model 8632-8764 I would like to replace it with a bigger AC unit. I believe my current one is 11,000 BTU. Can I replace it with a 13500 or 15,000 BTU unit? What do you recommend as the replacement AC for my rv?

You can absolutely upgrade your air conditioner to a higher Btu unit from the 11,000 Btu Coleman-Mach AC you have now. I highly recommend going with a 13,500 Btu Furrion Chill HE because they have a low power draw (11.2 amps) similar to your current AC and a built-in start capacitor that stores power to jumpstart it so the AC is always on. You can choose from either white or black:
- White: Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR52PR
- Black: Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR25PR
