Hey Gerry,

Is that a question or are you trying to leave a review? With the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Flat Tow Brake System # BLU37TR being portable there is the opportunity for it to slide around if it's not properly mounted between the driver's seat and brake pedal. When installing the unit in your vehicle you'll want to move the seat back, secure the claw to the brake pedal, and then move the seat forward until it's touching the back of the unit. If you push the seat too far forward the blue and red lights will be solid when the actuator adjusts itself and will require you to adjust the seat again to remove the pressure on the unit. You might also need to adjust the feet to help get the unit to sit right.

If your floor mat isn't mounted to the floor and can shift around then you'll want to remove it when using the Patriot to prevent it from allowing the unit to slide around. Brad talks about placement of the unit in a Wrangler around the 6 minute mark of the video attached below.
