How Does Peterson Great White License Plate Light Get Removed
Updated 11/15/2024 | Published 11/14/2024 >
Question:
Is there an easy method to remove the old, same design, light housing with the spring/snap fingers on the full perimeter? I have limited space to work with. Thanks.

Hey Gary, so the Peterson Grat White LED license plate light part # M298C was designed to be pried out. So if you have limited access you would want to find maybe like a hook shaped tool or a slot screwdriver that has a 90 degree angle at the end of it. Or if you can access the light from the back that might be one way to get it.

Ya, figured that out. Next question: OEM have one wire, these appear to have two. Do I need a separate ground for the second wire? I'll figure that out too..haha.
