Hello, I have a CRV 2016 without roof rails. Wanting to know what would be the best option for crossbars if we didnt get the roof rails and if we did. Thanks!

Hi Austin; for your current configuration I recommend the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack for Naked Roofs # TH94AG (Black) or # TH54XG (Silver). The WingBar Evo bars are super quiet and look great on any vehicle. Also, unless you're wanting to try and use something like a rooftop tent I wouldn't bother spending the extra money to add roof rails to the vehicle. You can use this roof rack for the Thule Motion XT Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box # TH629506 you were looking at.
If you do add rails your options become more limited. If you have flush mounted rails the Rhino-Rack Vortex Roof Rack # RR27FE would be a good choice and if you add the raised rails the Exposed Racks Roof Rack # ER42TR becomes the only option.
