I want a 4 pin wiring harness for a 6x12 trailer with sidelights, that doesnt have to be replaced every 2 years.

Hi Don; for a replacement 4-way wiring harness I recommend the 20 Ft 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness # A20WB. This is a wishbone harness so you can run wires down both sides for your marker lights.

Regarding the longevity of the wiring, I don't have anything I can say will last more than 2 years for sure but such a short timeframe isn't typical. Since you seem to be having some issues with your old wiring I would use a cover # C58750 to help protect the new connector. I would also make sure the wire is secure using # A0500 to minimize any rubbing or movement that might cause it to fail over time.
