Aftermarket Front Bumper With Winch For A 2022 Jeep Wrangler With An etrailer Invisible Baseplate

Question:
I have a 2022 Wrangler JL 4door jeep with an invisible base plate kit and SD non-binding tow bar from Etrailer and want to find a winch and bumper i can install without affecting the towing setup I have. Thanks

Hi Milo,
We don't currently offer a front bumper and winch for your 2022 Jeep Wrangler but I can say that what you're going to need to look for is how the new bumper would mount to the frame rails. The etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e98948 mounts to the outside and front of the frame rails. You would need to find a bumper that mounts to the inside of the frame rails and determine if you'd be able to cut openings in the air dam for the arms of the baseplate to stick through. You can get a factory steel bumper with a warn winch and still be able to install a baseplate so I would try reaching out to Jeep to see where these bumpers are from.
