Replacement Electric Tongue Jack For A 2021 Jayco Eagle 312 BHOK Travel Trailer

Updated 08/20/2025 | Published 10/23/2024

Question:

Hello, Does this Lippert jack have the wiring harness installed to control the rest of the landing gear? I only see the power cable in the pictures, description and video. Trailer is a 2021 Jayco Eagle Series, 312 BHOK, . Thanks for your help.

Hey John,

The Lippert Smart Jack Electric Trailer Jack w/ Footplate # LC643589 is only going to have a power wire to connect to your battery. If your trailer has the Ground Control TT leveling system then you would want the Replacement Tongue Jack for Lippert Ground Control TT Leveling System # LC421366, which would have both a power wire and two other connectors to connect to the other leveling jacks.

If you're not sure and want to send me a picture of your jack I can take a look and see if I can identify what you have.

@John I got the video and pictures and spoke with Lippert's tech department. They stated the lighting error you're getting means that there's moisture in the head of the jack, which could've caused a short. There should be a harness that runs from the jack to the controller (pictured above). Check your fuses and connections to see if that's your culprit and then complete a Zero Point Calibration on the system to reset it. Since it's connected to the whole Ground Control system it could also be that the entire system isn't getting enough voltage to properly operate, which would just indicate that the battery is either lower than 12.75 volts and needs to be recharged or that the battery could just be bad. Try testing voltage before and after connecting to shore power to see how the system responds. If it still isn't working then the jack control board could be damaged and then you'd be looking at replacement with part # LC421366.

@KevinC Thanks for the info. I have 13VDC when connected to shore power, as well as disconnected and running straight off the battery. So power isnt the problem. I agree, there’s gotta be a problem with the tongue jack control board. With the # LC421366, I notice there is (2) wiring harness’, a 2-pin and a 3-pin. My clients current jack only has the 2-pin which runs to the landing system control module. What would I do with the 3-pin? Do I need it? Can I just cut the wires and terminate them?

For those Jayco owners with this system (I have a 2022 312BHOK), I was able to get the part number from Lippert. If calling Lippert, ask for part number 811995. I was told that this jack is used for 2020 and newer Jayco Travel Trailers models with the Ground Control system. This is for the entire jack, as they mentioned that there are no replaceable parts on the console itself. For additional background, my entire electronic auto-leveling system worked with the BMpro app, but not directly from the tongue jack head/control unit. It turned out that the ribbon inside the head unit was a bit corroded. I hope this information helps someone, as I struggled to find information on replacement parts that matched my unit. Threads on eTrailer gave me just enough information to figure out where to look. I sent photos to Lippert, and they were able to narrow it down to the correct unit very quickly.

@JesseM - if it is helpful, I can email photos of the actual jack for future readers of this thread. It can be helpful to know if this is applicable, etc.
