Hello B, thanks for reaching out. The Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TGMFK35C will fit your 1996 Chevy Tahoe 2 door with the 2" lift. You are likely going to need a spacer to achieve the desired 1/2" to 1-1/2" gap between the rubber spring and the contact point. For a spacer use the Timbren 1" Spacer For Raised Frame Vehicles - 3/8" Bushing # A25723-90AH00. Just keep in mind the bolts that come with the Timbren kit may not be long enough to accommodate the spacers and if so you will need to source new grade 5 bolts from your local hardware store.
