Features to know about

Keep the Front End Level Under Heavy Loads: 14,000-lb Capacity Support

When you hang serious equipment up front like a plow or carry gear that loads the nose, the front end can sag and throw off handling. The Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 14,000 lbs of load-leveling support to help keep your truck sitting level. The hollow rubber springs mount where your bump stops sit and work with your factory suspension to handle extra weight, keeping steering, braking, and headlight aim steady under load.

Smooth Out Rough Roads and Heavy Impacts: Hollow Rubber Springs That Absorb Shock

Bumpy job sites and uneven pavement don’t have to beat up your front suspension. These Aeon hollow rubber springs take the brunt of road shock so the ride stays smoother and more stable. By cushioning impacts, they protect your leaf springs and prevent bottoming out on rough roads, reducing wear on factory components and keeping control firm even when loaded down.

Stay Steady in Crosswinds and Turns: Independent Spring Action

Each spring reacts on its own to what’s happening under that side of the vehicle. When you hit a curve or uneven ground, both sides work independently to cut down on body roll and sway. The result is a more planted feel through corners and better stability when carrying off-center loads or when heavy attachments shift weight side to side.

Timbren suspension system preventing body roll and sway for improved vehicle stability

Simple, No-Drill Setup That’s Always Working

This system bolts onto vehicle-specific brackets in place of your factory bump stops—no drilling required. Once installed, the springs stay in constant contact with the axle so they’re always active. There’s no air pressure to check or adjustments to make; the progressive design automatically stiffens as more weight is added, giving smooth support when lightly loaded and firm stability when fully weighted.

Built for Long-Term Strength

Each kit includes two Aeon hollow rubber springs with brackets and hardware designed for a direct fit on vehicles with suspension in good working order. The durable rubber construction flexes more than microcellular urethane alternatives, providing both toughness and ride comfort that lasts through years of towing, hauling, and plow work.

The front Timbren are working very good. The rear not so good

by:

I had a problem with getting front sumo springs relative to the rear sumo springs I purchased earlier; however, the staff at etrailer were very helpful in getting me a suspension enhancement component made by timbren which I just installed. I believe the timbren supports are going to do the job I was looking for and make me just as happy as I am with the rear sumo springs. You will notice from the photos the supports make direct contact; however, the pictures were taken on a unlevel surface and when the truck is on a level surface the direct contact is equal on either side. Also, the timbren supports provide substantially more weight capacity in the event I choose to haul my scooter on the front end of the truck. Thanks again Derek S and etrailer staff I am very pleased with the service, customer relations and professionalism experienced when ordering my parts. Thank you, Bobby (Louisiana).

I would say that the product is a bit pricey for what it contains. The secondary bolts came with the wrong sized nuts. Other than that, they work well to support the suspension.

by:

Install was straightforward. Hardest part was getting the old bump stops out. Sway was greatly reduced on the Interstate and the rock and roll by passing semis was greatly reduced. Wish I had bought these sooner!

by:

These bumpstops really work, they stop the front end vibration before it travels through the shocks and springs, for a smooth ride

by:

Pretty pricey but well worth it. Put these all the way around at the same time as new rear leaf springs on our c7500 topkick and it made a huge difference. It's a top heavy bucket truck and it would rock and roll just turning a corner to the point it was downright scary. Now thats greatly reduced. They also smoothed out the ride especially when loaded more than I expected.
Install was simple, perfect fit. Worst part was grinding out the rivet on the old bracket

by:

I haven/t installed them yet. I think I should have gotten a discount for the age of the "box"s the Timbrens were in. May be a credit ,, Brad

by:

Super simple installation that took about 20 minutes. These made a HUGE improvement on steering control and bounce. Driving on the freeway is a breeze. I highly recommend this product.

by:

It good but one side with no bump had to be put spacer but the spacer was flat so the bolt did not have a lot of thread so I grind the spacer a bit so it could stay flush otherwise this might solve the problem of outter tire wear that ford transit has will find out soon

by:

I love these things. They are worth the upfront expense. I have them on two ¾'s, one ½, and a minivan for road trips. This particular set is full-time active up front. I have a 2" leveling kit and I'm in em no matter what. Zero complaints though. Solid performance through all aspects. I don't run any front-end attachments.

by:

I have a 2006 Kodiak 2 wheel drive. Timbrin firmed up the front end to much. There in full contact with the spring. I think it to stuff and I might be removing them. The install was straight forward. Parts are as expected and quality of Timbrin is great. Just not enough cush..

by:

Great ordering, shipping time, cost, and supporting information. We added a snow plow and the product did everything as advertised.

Got the product quick after restocking looking forward to installing them

by:

rubber bumper/springsLooks like a good strong product, and fast shipping. Thankyou, john

by:

Fast shipping fit perfect worked as exp ected

by:

Very simple installation. No modification to my vehicle was required, simply remove OEM travel stops and bolt these in their place.

I do feel the road more with this product installed but the improvement in handling is definitely worth it.
My '99 Yukon corners as well as my '20 Blazer now.

by:

Purchased to prevent the front end from sagging on 1/2 ton truck when hooked up to a snow plow. Fairly easy install with good instructions provided.
Product was recommended by the snow plow dealer. I haven't installed the snow plow yet, so I don't know how well it works.

by:

I have put these on vehicles in the past so not a mystery as to what to do however the parts were labeled wrong and I was missing washers. Other than that they installed just fine. My original bump stops disintegrated so these were an upgrade / replacement being that this is now my plow truck.

by:

The Timbren Front Suspension has performed as advertised, was very easy to install and has improved my truck’s overall ride quality. I would totally purchase again and will eventually get them for the rear.
Only complaint was I received two right side brackets in the kit and had to call e-trailer for a left side bracket. They referred me to Timbren. In my opinion, a better customer service approach would have been to call them for me. Since it’s there vendor. Timbren did send me the correct part - begrudgingly though.

by:

Easy install, didn't even need the brackets for my application. Really helped with sidesway in the wind and seems to help the front from dipping with extra weight. Haven't tried plowing snow yet but I think they will make a major difference

  • Air Bag Helper Springs for a 1995 Chevy Suburban 1500 4x4
We have air bag help springs for the rear axle of your 1995 Chevy Suburban K1500 but there are no options for the front. But there are other options we can use for the front. Starting with the front you can use Timbren springs # TGMFK35C. These will be easier to install than air bags and require no maintenance. The front of the vehicle usually stays pretty constant in terms of ride height and the amount of weight at the front so the fixed Timbren springs are ideal. For the rear axle we...

The Timbren rubber springs will install in place of your factory bump stop. You will want to make sure that the suspension on your vehicle is in good working order before installing the Timbren kit. • Will Timbren Front Suspension Helper Springs Raise the Height at the Front of a 1998 Chevy Tahoe
Generally speaking, Timbren front axle suspension enhancement such as # TGMFK35C for your 1998 Tahoe will be engaged all the time. While this doesn't mean that the front will be lifted (if it is it would be a fraction of an inch based on where this kit installs) the front end will not sag as much, if at all, which can give the illusion that the front is a little higher.

  • Recommended Front Hitch, Snow Plow and Front-Axle Suspension Jounce Spring Kit for 1994 K2500 4x4
For your 1994 Chevy K2500 4x4 the front-mount hitch I recommend is the no-drill Curt model # 31042. This hitch offers a 500-lb vertical load rating, plenty for a snow plow like the 82-inch K2 # K2AVAL8219 or one of the others shown on the linked page. With a heavy front-end plow load on the truck's suspension you might want to consider a suspension helper spring kit to help offset that load and reduce front sag. Was your truck built on a cab and chassis style frame? If so, you would need the # TGMFK35C for suspension enhancement.
