Does 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Short Bed Need Slider Towing 2023 Keystone Cougar 24RDS With Max Turn Tech

I have a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD with 81.6 bed, I will be pulling a 2023 Keyston Cougar model 24RDS with max turn technology. Do I need a sliding hitch or will a fixed hitch work for me?

Hi Bruce; according to Keystone the max turn technology allows for an 83º turning radius on a short bed truck with a standard slider. If that is acceptable for you and you have the prep package I recommend the B&W Companion # BWRVK3710. If you don't then I recommend installing the # BW65SR which includes the B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch and Companion. This version of the Companion mounts in the square hole from the gooseneck hitch.
It is still possible to install a slider which they say will allow for up to a 95º turning radius. If you want to go that route it would be the # BWRVK3775 with the prep package or # BW45SR without.
