Is B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount 2-5/16" Ball Rated for 14,500 or 18,000 lbs

In several answers in the QandA a max rating of 14,500 is mentioned for the 2-5/16inch ball, yet the product itself is listed as rated for 18K on same ball.

Hello Shaun; back in May of this year (2024) B&W updated the # BWTS20066BMP and the capacity with the 2-5/16" ball. 18,000 lbs is now the correct capacity, and this version of the ball mount is what we have in our inventory. What you saw were some answers that hadn't been updated since the change which I went ahead and corrected.
If you want to add locks to keep it secure the InfiniteRule Locking Pins for B & W Tow and Stow 10K and 14.5K Ball Mounts # 34061775-D still work with the updated capacity.
