Hello Renea, thanks for reaching out. The etrailer Class 3 Hitch # e59AR will fit the 2012 Subaru Forester with the Prezi double muffler. This hitch was designed to fit all models of the 2012 Forester, and this includes the double exhaust models. The picture below will shows the Curt # 13147 installed on a 2012 Forester with a double muffler. The Curt hitch is structurally identical to the etrailer # e59AR so this is basically exactly what it will look like.
The main difference is our etrailer hitch uses a matter black powder coating, while the Curt hitch has a glossy black finish. We have found the matte black coating to be better at resisting scuffs and scratches. It also blends better with the underbody of the vehicle, since a lot of the plastic paneling also has a matte finish. Our etrailer hitch is generally a bit more affordable than the Curt as well, so the # e59AR is definitely what I recommend.

Hey Renea, how did the etrailer hitch work out on your Forester with the double muffler? Did the matte black finish blend in the way you were hoping? Your update could make it easier for others with the same setup.
