Question:
What is range of battery life for these lights? The check battery level indicator light every 2 hours statement has me concerned. I drive for much longer stretches than that and dont wish to carry excessive spare AAs or replace them every couple days ifthats what is required. Thx!

The battery life for Hopkins wireless magnetic tow lights, # C6304, is going to depend on several factors including the charge level of the batteries used, quality of the batteries, ambient temperature, and of course how long the lights are turned on. It is difficult to estimate because of all of these factors. The safe bet is to check them with reasonable frequency.
With that said the LED lights draw very little amperage so fresh batteries are likely going to last well over 2 hours.
If you want to avoid the battery powered lights then I recommend a regular magnetic light kit # RM-2120.
