Question:
There appears to be two wiring harness versions for the 2008 ford taurus x 11140535 which does not have an electronic taillight converter and 11140585 which does have the converter which one is correct and why ? thank you John

Expert Reply:
Hi John; the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11140535 is the correct wiring harness for your 2008 Ford Taurus X. The # HM11140585 with the converter is required for the regular Ford Taurus, not the X. I don't know what the exact difference is but the converter is not required for your model.
