Question:
Hello! Im an engineer working with a company where we are designing a product that needs a spindle and hub assembly rated at least at 1,750lb. The DM04369 looks to be rated at that. A couple quick questions, is this a full spindle and hub assembly? is the spindle included with this hub? Also, would you guys happen to have any dimensions or drawings for the overall hub and spindle assembly? I know that may need to go back to the original manufacture but needing it to design around it. I know you guys have the bolt hole locations and the flange dimensions. But need other dimensions such as, what size bolts it uses, total height, height of hub and diameter of it, size of lugs on it, etc.

Hey Stevan, the Replacement Hub Assembly # DM04369 is just the hub, so the spindle is not included. This is a replacement part for the Demco Kar Kaddy so it'd use the existing spindle and mounting bolts to install.
For a spindle, the closest it looks like we carry is a 2,000 lb spindle like the BT8 Spindle for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles # TRU94FR. This spindle would work great with the hub # 34822545BX for a 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern, or # AKIHUB-440-2-G-1K for a 4 on 4 bolt pattern - Both of these hubs are also rated for 2,000 lbs.

Hey Stevan, did the 2,000 lb spindle and hub options end up fitting your design needs? Knowing how the dimensions worked out could really help others planning similar setups. Your feedback would be great for anyone designing around these parts.
