Question:
I just installed these bags on my rv. I have hydraulic leveling jacks. Should I be worried about over extending my bags?

Hello Clayton. With a firestone air bag kit, you really do not need to worry about over extending them. The top and bottom plates use a rolled crimp seal that is quite strong. They can handle being extended so you do not have to worry about damaging them when leveling your RV. Some other brands of air bag cannot handle being extended, but the design of the Firestone allows them to extend without risking damage.

Hey Clayton, how did things go with your Firestone air bags once you leveled your RV with the hydraulic jacks? It’d be great to hear if they handled the extension as expected. Your update could make it easier for others using the same setup.
