Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Kenda Karrier KR 35. It's a trailer ready tire and wheel combo. This is featured in a ST 235 slash 80 R16 radial pre mounted tire wheel on the 16 inch nardo gray modular steel wheel. And it features that eight lug on six and a half inch bolt pattern. Now the center pilot hole here measures 4.90 inches.
So if you have a center cap already you're replacing, make sure it fits that exact size, or we do sell them separately as well if you're looking for new ones or a different size. Now this is a load range E and that just means that it's a 10 ply rated tire and it's rated to support up to 3,500 pounds at 90 PSI giving you dependable hauling. Now the wheel itself is rated a little bit higher, but we always go by the lowest rating, which in this case is the tire itself. And this is a nice KR 53 tread and it's been engineered to help channel the water away from that center patch, giving you improved grip on the pavement, whether it's wet or dry. So whether you're towing in rain, sleet, snow, et cetera, your trailer's gonna keep tracking with confidence and give you the traction you need.
And also, radial construction, that is gonna reduce the heat buildup inside the tire, which will then extend the tire and the tread life. And again, the 16 by 6 modular design. All these circles here, that's what they call their modular design. It uses a two step finishing process so it gets an e-coat, primer, and then it gets that beautiful gray powder coat you're seeing here with a little shine to it. That's gonna resist corrosion and rust.
It's also gonna help things not stick to that as well, whether it's mud, dirt, debris and stuff. Obviously over time, you know it's gonna break down eventually, but should last for years and years to come. Now I got 30.7 inches diameter when fully inflated across the front and I got 9.2 inches on a section width. So again, folks, this is the Kenda Karrier KR 35 tire and wheel combo with the nardo gray modular wheel eight on six and a half lug. The wheels are almost an exact match for my 21 year old Featherlite car hauler. I have not towed the trailer so I cannot comment on the tires. I'm sure they will be fine.
