Replacement Base For A LockRack Universal XL Watersport Carrier

Question:
Hi, I purchased the LockRack Adjustable XL Watersport Carrier for Canoe, Kayak, or 2 SUPs Side Loading - Universal Mount, Part Number: LR54FR. I need to replace one of the base see attached photo. Will this part work, and does it use the same key? Thanks, Chris

Hey Chris,
The Crossbar Adapter for Lockrack Accessories # LR44FR does include a base and some mounting hardware that could be used to replace one of your carrier's bases. This specific one comes with a 10" long base. If you need a different length then let me know what size you have. There's no way to choose a specific lock keycode so this base would likely come with a different code than your current locks.

Hi, Thank you for the information. I would prefer to replace the base with one that is the same size as the one in the photo. Could you please point me to the correct replacement part for that? Thanks, Chris
