Will MORryde Jerry Can Mount Also Fit 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver

Question:
I was hoping to clarify if i throw away the receiver included with this package, will I be able use the jerry can holder on a standard 2inch receiver, as long as any obstruction is less than 6inch away? I am asking because In the third Q and A question the answer provided was YES, but in the 6th Q and A question, the answer was NO. I would like to purchase for the receiver of my RV. Thanks

Hi Brad; thanks for pointing this out. I reached out to MORryde and can confirm that the # MR69MR will fit a 2" receiver. I'm not sure where that other information came from saying it wouldn't fit any receiver size, but the part that holds the jerry can has a 2" shank so it is wrong. I went ahead and removed the other answer, sorry for the confusion.
