Question:
Can you confirm whether or not this will fit a 1986 Toyota 4runner? It is not listed as fitting the 1986, which is the same generation as 1987.

Thanks for reaching out, Cary!
The oldest model that Curt has confirmed their Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13024 to fit is the 1987 Toyota 4Runner, but from what I'm seeing it looks like the '86 and '87 models were the exact same thing so I think it's safe to assume this hitch will fit your '86 4Runner just fine.

Hey Cary, how did the Curt trailer hitch work out on your 1986 4Runner? It sounds like the fit should have matched the 1987 model. Your update could make it easier for others with older 4Runners to know what to expect.
