Hi Zachary,
There are a couple options for a 2-1/2" weld-on hitch for a school bus. Both are for frames from a minimum of 18" to a maximum of 44" and the right one depends on the amount of drop you need. The drop will be from the frame of the vehicle so you can use either depending on that:
- 9" Drop: Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # C37CR
- 18" Drop: Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch # C87CR

Hey Zachary, how did things go with the Curt weld-on hitch options for your school bus? Did one of the drop sizes end up matching your frame setup? Your update could make it easier for the next person working on a similar build.
