Does this specific hitch require bolting to the Rear bumper brace as the factory unit does?

Hey Kerry,

Nope, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 14080 does not require bolting to the rear bumper brace like the factory unit. The hitch just bolts directly to the frame with two existing frame bolts and two bolts that come with the # 14080.

On the Curt hitch #14080 the rear hole to the receiver face is 14.36 inches. From the frame to the top of the receiver is 1.85 inches.

I spoke to my contact at Curt and he informed me that from the center of the mounting holes that are on the mounting bracket on top of the hitch opening to the end of the opening measures 1-1/2 inches.
