Question:

I inherited a hitch of your Draw Tite brandits model is v5[?]. What does it fit? Thank you, Augie

Hello Augie. The "V5" on your Draw-Tite hitch is not a part number, so I am not able to tell you what vehicles it fits based on that. The V5 likely indicates that it is a class 5 hitch.

Are there any other numbers on this hitch? The Draw-Tite part number are usually 5 digits and there is typically a sticker somewhere on the hitch with this information. If you can find the part number I can definitely identify the hitch for you.

@AugieL I am happy to take a look if you want to email me a picture. Just reply to the email that brought you to this page. I will let you know that without the sticker it is usually not possible to identify a trailer hitch. Many models look very similar and there are a TON of different Draw-Tite hitches out there.

@BillB Hey Bill. So 21524 does appear to be an older Draw-Tite part number, but I looked absolutely everywhere online, and in our own records and I found no specs whatsoever. The part number does pop up internally, it shows up as discontinued and we have literally zero info on it which suggests it is a much older part. You could try getting in touch directly with Draw-Tite to see if they have any info on it. Are you needing a hitch for your vehicle? Or are you hoping to repurpose an older hitch?

@JesseM THANKS! I'd rather not scrap it so I was hoping to track down the original intended purpose & maybe someone out there can use it.

@BillB I gotcha. Typically those part numbers are easy to look up but this one is tricky for whatever reason. Hopefully the folks at Draw-Tite can help. Do feel free to come back anytime you need anything else!
