Question:
Hi, I have a Yakime Skybox 12. When unlocking one side, the handle went limp and wont open the box. The other lock and handle works fine but only one side will open. I was thinking about replacing the locks but wondering if the handle is the problem and what options I would have to fix? Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide. John

Hello John. We do offer a replacement locking handle for the Yakima Skybox 12 # Y07334. For new handles I recommend using the Replacement SuperLatch Handles for Yakima SkyBox Cargo Boxes # Y8880348. This comes with a set of 2 handles and 2 keys. I know only one of your handles is broken, but it is better to replace both at the same time so that both locks use the same key. Otherwise, you would have to carry two keys with you and that could make things confusing.

Thanks Jesse, Can you put me into some instructions on how to replace the handles? Would I need to drill the existing handles out? John
