Recommended D-Ring Tie Down Anchors
Question:
Good morning, I watched your video on the d-ring tie down anchor installation per the link below: etrailer D-Ring Tie Down Anchor - Bolt On - 4-7/8" Wide - Round Mounting Holes - 2,000 lbs RRING-R6000 Im trying to figure out how many to buy, and was wondering if you would please give me a recommendation. I have a 6 x 12 enclosed trailer, and I do not have any anchors on the floor which is why Im going to be installing these. Do you have any recommendations for quantity and configuration? Thank you for your time and help, and have a blessed day. Semper Fi, Andy

Without knowing what you're going to be hauling and tying down I can't really get too specific with a recommendation. I would install a minimum of 6 of the etrailer D-Ring Tie Down Anchor item # RRING-Q6000 on each side. How far out from the wall you want to go is up to you but I would space these out evenly along the length of the trailer.
For the etrailer D-Ring Tie Down Anchor item # RRING-Q6000 you will need to use the Backing Plate item # BP05. This will increase surface area for the bolts used to attach the anchor to your floor giving it additional support. You will want to use 4-3/8" carriage bolts and 3/8" nylon lock nuts for each one to complete the installation. You can source these at your local hardware store.
