Should 2021 Ram 3500 Have Hellwig Sway Bar Installed if Has Timbrens

Question:

If I add the severe timbrens to my 2021 3500 RAM dually should I still upgrade to a Helwig anti-sway bar,? I will be hauling a truck camper.

Hey Robert, yes it still will be a good idea to go with the Hellwig rear sway bar part # HE24MR on your 2021 Ram 3500 with the TImbrens. The sway bar will do a better job preventing body roll and sway then the Timbrens and won't be quite as harsh in providing that support either.

Timbrens Severe claims it prevents roll and sway vs. air bags which is why I orderderd the timbrens over the airlift system and a Helwig swaybar.

@InterestingR It will help since it makes the suspension really stiff but it's at the cost of ride quality and is more just about really stiff suspension that has secondary benefit of reducing sway.
