Sumo Springs For 2022 Ram 3500 With 2,400 lb Slide In Camper

Im trying to decide between three different sumo springs helper springs and am confused by the weight ratings and differences. We have a 2022 ram 3500 and want something to help the ride out when carrying our 2400lbs slide in camper. The yellow solo springs claim a 2800lbs weight capacity, and the blue rebels claim a 3000lbs capacity. Higher still is the black rebel springs with a 5000lbs capacity. What is the difference? How should I consider the weight capacity of the different springs and which would you recommend?

Hello Brennan. The only real difference between the different sumo spring options is the weight capacity or stiffness of the springs. Since you will have a truck bed camper on your 2022 Ram 2500, I recommend going with the 5,000 lb capacity SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSR-301-47-2. The lower capacity springs are great for occasional towing, but for a constant load like a truck bed camper, you are definitely going to want the extra support provided by the 5,000 lb springs. The sumo springs are great for truck bed campers. They will help to level your ride and absorb shock. They also work independently from each other so they can help compensate for uneven loads.
