Question:
Hello- I have a 2022 RAM 3500 4x4 crew cab with a longbed. Single rear wheel, standard suspension no airbags. I have a RealLite 1806 truck camper 2,700 lbs that sags the suspension about 3 and makes it squirrely offroad. Im looking for something that will minimize the sag and maximize stability while offroad. I have the TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade w Quick-Disconnect - Lower Overload Springs - Stainless Steel TLA7310S and Timbren Suspension Enhancement System - Severe Service - Rear Axle T94VR both in my cart right now. Can you tell me which- or something different- will do best for sorting my rig out? Thanks!

Hey Mick! Thank you for providing that information. Since you're going offroad with the truck camper I recommend the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T94VR. This is designed for constant loads like a slide-in camper and has a really high capacity to prevent that suspension sag. The two springs work independently so it will also cut down on that squirrelly factor by reducing body roll while absorbing bumps/shocks.
My go to for in-bed camper setups is typically air bags like the # F2615 since they're fully adjustable and don't impact ride quality when you pull out the camper. Are you out there in heavy brush? If so, air bags probably aren't the best option since a branch or other debris could rip into one resulting in a less than pleasant experience. This isn't really a concern with the Timbren SES. They also work best with an onboard air compressor like # AL25980EZ so the Timbren has the advantage with no maintenance required.

Hey Mick, how did things go with the Timbren suspension setup on your Ram and camper? Did it help reduce the sag and make the truck feel more stable offroad? Your update could make it easier for others setting up similar rigs.
