Will The Curt C44BR Hitch Fit A 2024 Toyota Tundra With A Factory Hitch

Question:
What if I already have a factory class 3 hitch on my 2024 Toyota Tundra Limited crew max installed. Is there an issue with the bolt pattern? I need the 1200 pound hitch weight capacity that comes with the class 4.

Hello Jim. Technically, yes the Curt hitch # C44BR will bolt up to a 2024 Toyota Tundra with the OEM hitch removed. From our understanding though, the OEM hitch attaches using supports for the rear bumper. If you remove the hitch you will be removing the bumper supports so we really can't confirm how secure the bumper will be after you do this. So will it bolt up? Yes. Is it recommended? No.
