Question:
Does the part C38BR? Trailer Hitch for 2024 Mazda CX-50 require to cut the plastic section from the rear bumper? Could you provide a few photos on the underside of the vehicle when the hitch is installed. thank you. I have the 2024 Mazda CX-50 Premium non-turbo

Hey Peter, thanks for reaching out. The Curt # C38BR trailer hitch for the 2024 Mazda CX-50 does require some cutting of the underbody panel. Also, I can confirm that this hitch will fit he Premium non-turbo model. You will find a link to our install video below. If you fast forward to about the 3:20 mark you can see the section cut out of the bumper. I have also linked the manufacturer instructions for you below and they have a few really helpful diagrams. Here are a few pictures of the completed install.
