Question:
Hello. I have a 2005 ford f150 that currently has a four pin trailer connector from the factory No reciever on truck just bumper ball and pig tail in the glovebox to plug a brake controller into the truck harness. I now have a reciever hitch installed and would like direct plug in 7 blade w/ 4 pin pigtail. What are my options? Thanks.

The best option to convert the 4-way on a 2005 Ford F-150 to a 4 and 7-way trailer connector is with the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole part # 37185. The two 4-ways will plug into one another and then you will need to splice into a few wires which is explained below. There won't be a fully plug-in-play option but this one will be close.
