Question:
I have a 2020 chevy 3500 hD duramax. I have trailer wiring from factory in the back bumper. I want to keep that and add a 7 pin inside the bed. what part do I need ?

Hi Michael; I recommend the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector # C53CR. This wiring harness comes with a cover plate adapter that will fit the factory connector opening in your truck bed for a nice, clean installation.
If you would like the option of having a 4-way in the bed as well the # C58FV will also work. The style of connector this wiring harness comes with also fits the factory opening. The connector matches the style you have on the back of your 2020 Silverado 3500 with the 7-way on one side and 4-way on the other.

Hey Michael, how did the wiring harness work out for adding that 7-pin in your truck bed? Your results could really help others looking to keep their factory bumper connector too.
