Is Additional Soft Start Necessary for Furrion Chill AC

Question:
I bought a Furrion Chill He rv air conditioner model FR32PR from you. The guy that installed it for us said we should get a soft start kit for it. Wondering if that is necessary for us to get. Thanks Joe

Hi Joe; generally speaking that is a good idea. However, the Furrion # FR32PR you purchased actually has a start capacitor built in already (does the same thing as a soft start) so it isn't necessary.
