The shank of the AMG Buck Emblem Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover # AMG102363 is 3-inches long. This is the length measured from the forward-facing (rear) surface of the main plate. The center of the hitch pin hole is located 2-1/2-inches from the main plate.
This USA-made hitch cover includes a foam gasket to reduce vibration and chatter while installed in your hitch.
If you'd like a lock to secure it in your hitch you can use # e98880.
