Replacement Master Cylinder for Dico Aero 6000 Brake Actuator

Updated 07/20/2024 | Published 07/15/2024

Question:

I have a Dico Aero 6000 surge brake coupling and have a bad master cylinder. Will your part number T4714200042 work or is there a more suitable component? Also, may wish to upgrade to an electric lockout as it is currently a manual reverse lockout. Wheat part number would you recommend for that? Thanks

Hi David; the old Dico Aero 6000 master cylinder can be replaced with the # T4395100. To add an electric lockout you can use the Replacement Solenoid Valve for Dexter Brake Actuators with Reverse Lockouts # T4748800.

Thanks. I failed to mention that I have disc brakes. What is proper master cylinder number for disc brakes? Thanks

@David got it. For disc brakes the # T4714200042 would be correct.
