Question:
I have a five lug axle that someone has put four lug hubs on. My question is, do they make a universal hub to fit the longer spindle of a 5 inch axle?

Hey Ron, thanks for reaching out!
It sounds like you might have a 2,000 lb trailer axle because those hubs have both 4 on 4" and 5 on 4-1/2" bolt patterns available. For example, the etrailer Hub # AKIHUB-440-2-EZ-2K has a 4-bolt pattern while the etrailer Hub # AKIHUB-545-2-LFEZ-2K has a 5-bolt pattern, and they both fit the same spindle.
If you can verify what bearing numbers and seal dimensions your hub uses I'd be more than happy to help you find the correct replacement!

Hey Ron, were you able to check the bearing numbers and seal dimensions on your axle? Once you have that info, I can help confirm which hub will fit best. Your update could make it easier for others sorting out similar axle setups.
