How to Choose High-Low Adapter for Flat Towing a Chevy Equinox Behind a Fleetwood Motorhome

Question:

Hello, we have a 36 class A Fleetwood Bounder and flat tow a Chevy Equinox with the Blue Ox Alpha 2 I believe that is the model. We are looking for a hitch to level out the tow bar some. Can you tell me what hitch we may need? Thank you.

Hey Kathaleen, thanks for reaching out!

To level out your Blu Ox tow bar you can either use an adjustable receiver like the Blue Ox # BLU34TR, or if you measure from the ground to the center of your Fleetwood Bounder hitch receiver and from the ground to the center of the base plate brackets on your Chevy Equinox we can get you an adapter that is more exact and cost-effective since you won't need the adjustability part of it.
