Question:
the etrack is rated for 2000 lbs WLL. what does that mean exactly? if i make two connections to the same track does my WLL go up to 4000 lbs? if i weld the e track directly to the trailer frame will that increase WLL?

Good question and the 2,000 lb working load limit (WLL) of the Erickson Horizontal E-Track such as the 5 foot # E19148 is the safe limit for the weight of the cargo the track is helping secure. To simplify, it is the cargo capacity that the track can safely handle so you do not want to exceed it. However, the 2,000 lb limit is per track, so that means if you put down two tracks horizontally, your WLL would go up to 4,000 lbs.
This track cannot actually be welded on, it needs to be secured with screws or rivets and it is highly recommended you use E-Track Backing Plate # e96RR to help mount the track.
I have added links to video reviews of these products, as well as links to the tie-down accessories that work with e-track, such as the Erickson E-Track Strap with Ratchet # EM59136 and Erickson Wheel Chocks for E-Track # EM09162-2.
