I have a 2015 gmc sierra 2500hd and Im going to be pulling a camper that weighs just over 8000 lbs dry with a gvwr of just under 10,000 lbs. Whats the minimum carrying weight weight distribution hitch I would need?

Hey Austin, so the trick to picking out a weight distribution system is to go with one that has a tongue weight range that matches the tongue weight of the trailer. So in your case you'd need a system that has a tongue weight range of right at 1,000-1,500 lbs like what the Blue Ox SwayPro part # BLU54TR has.

Hey Austin, how did the Blue Ox SwayPro work out for your Sierra when towing your camper? Knowing how it handled that weight could really help others setting up a similar rig.
