Question:

Im looking to replace the round bars on my Yakima Rack and Roll trailer. The bars that come with the trailer on track mounts, so I figured I can easily replace them with other track mount bars. Is there any reason I could not use these in place of what came with the trailer?

Hey Don, so the round crossbars of a Yakima Rack and Roll trailer are the standard Yakima crossbars without a track that runs underneath so for replacements you would want the part # Y00411 for 78 inch bars or part # Y00410 for 66 inch.

Hey Jameson! Thanks for the response. I should have phrased my question better. I don't like the round bars that come with the Yakima, I want to upgrade my trailer to heavier duty bars that have track mounts on them. Thought these bars might serve that purpose and wanted to make sure that there would be no issues with using them on my trailer.

@Don Ah I see what you mean now. I wish I could verify that the Rhino Rack HD bars would work for you or that there was a different top channel crossbar that would work on the Rack and Roll trailer but at this time we don't have anything.
