What is the Difference Between the 78 and 66 Inch Yakima Rack n Roll Trailers

Question:

Other than the with of the crossbars are there any other differences between the 66and78 inch wide trailers? For example is the 78 frame wider than the 66? The conversion kit to convert the 66 to a 78 is priced close to $350. That is a lot of money for just to 78 inch bars. or is there something else.

The 78 inch Yakima Rack n Roll trailer # Y08107 is actually wider overall than its 66 inch counterpart, # Y08106. So it is not just the crossbars. Because the price difference between the 2 is minimal it would be more beneficial to just go with the 78 inch model. We actually have couple of other options. I have included a link to all of the roof rack on wheels that we carry.
