Question:
Can you recommend, in your opinion, the best value, most reliable, quietest generator on the market. I have a grand design Imagine with a 15,000 BTU A/C. What wattage on the generator do you recommend? Thanks

If you are only going to use the generator to run the AC then you can get away with the Champion 2,500-Watt Portable Inverter Generator # CH69FR which is very quiet at only 53 decibels from 23'. If you are going to want to use the full 30amps of power to run your lights, TV, AC and other electronics you would want to get 2 of these generators and combine them with the Parallel Kit # CH74FR. Having the multiple generators can make it much easier as they are lighter and easier to move plus should one fail you have the 2nd so you are not dead in the water.

Howdy Bud--just want to make doubly sure here about my AC setup. I have a 2019 Coachmen Apex Nano with a 13,500 BTU a/c according to the specs (I've haven't seen the nameplate with my own eyes). I have a slow start system, too. I've monitored the circuit and it draws about 1500 w during runtime. My current 1600 w(surge 2000w) Wen generator can't make it work even with the slow start. Can we be certain that if JP's 15,000 BTU system would work then my 13,500 with slow start would? Thank you!
