Have you ever hooked up your 2,000 to 3,000-watt inverter generator and it just wasn't enough power? If only you had the power of 2 generators without having to lug around a big, heavy 5,000-watt generator. This 30-amp parallel kit offers you the luxury of combining 2 smaller Champion 2,000 to 3,000-watt inverter generators (sold separately) to increase your power when you need it most.
Most parallel kits require you to use the same generator, but with Champion39;s 30-amp ParaLINK kit you can mix and match a ParaLINK-ready 2,000-watt with a 3,000-watt generator or link (2) 3,000-watt ParaLINK generators together. The kit provides a convenient 30-amp TT-30R outlet to provide 30-amps of power directly to your RV and a 30-amp L5-30R twist lock outlet to power small household appliances and tools. The included 30-amp circuit breaker protects connected equipment from overloading.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Parallel Kit for 2,000 to 3,000 Watt Champion inverter generators with parallel link. Now this parallel kit is going to let you connect two Champion 2,000 to 3,000 Watt inverter generators with para link for increased power output. This compact portable kit adds two easily accessible outlets. And our first one here is going to be the 120 volt, 30 amp TT-30R RV outlet, which is going to provide an RV connection point.
And then one 120 volt 30 amp L5-30R twist lock outlet that's going to power large household appliances. This also features a power indicator light that is going to illuminate green when the power is being supplied to this parallel kit, and then a circuit breaker push reset. This has a 30 amp circuit breaker in each outlet that's going to protect your connected equipment from overloading. These also feature rubber anti-vibration wedges that's gonna prevent rattling during operation and these rubber feet are pretty robust. So I think they're gonna do a great job in trying to prevent that rattle.
And then these attached spring clips are going to hold these cords in place when you're not using them. Now I will mention, be careful with these clips. The plastic is not as robust, so I could see where maybe one of these clips could break easily, especially if you're wrangling these cables. So just be aware of that, but it is nice that they include something to try to help you manage these cables when you're not using them. The overall dimensions of this unit is gonna be about eight and 5/8 inches long.
And from top to bottom again, overall height from the top of the knob all the way down to the bottom of the feet, we're sitting about five inches tall. And then the width or the depth, however you'd like to describe that, from the end of the clamp, all the way to the face of our kit, we're sitting right at about six and 3/8 inches wide. This weighs a little over three pounds. And this is going to be an easy installation. And I do have a Champion 2,500-Watt portable inverter generator to demonstrate how this mounts to your generator.
So I am just going to turn it on, turn it right here at this side, so you can see, and this is going to clamp onto the handle, so as you can see we have a clamp here at the back of this kit. And so I'm just going to go ahead, and you wanna clamp it on the side that does not have the gas fill, so opposite where the cap is for the gas. And so I have this loosely on, let me just turn this here real quick, and hopefully you can see how that just goes right onto the handle there. And then I'm just going to tighten this down. You don't want to over tighten this. You just need it snug enough to where it's going to hold into place. So I think that's going to do it. It's not going to fall off or anything like that. So it's clamped on the handle. Then let me turn this around. Then that's what it's gonna look like when it is clamped to the handle. And then you're just going to take one end of the set of cables here and plug them into the para link and then use the other set of cables and plug that into your other generator. Now, if you are interested in taking a look at this generator, we do carry this here at etrailer.com and I am including the item number for that generator. Just pop that into the search field of our website. And that'll take you to that generator. Instructions are included with this kit and I think that's gonna do it for our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
