Replacement Threaded Hitch Bolt for Yakima 4-Bike Carrier for 2-Inch Hitches

Question:

I have a 4 bike Yakima rack that fits into a 2 inch car receiver hitch. It is missing the bolt that secures to the hitch receiver. Are these available? If not what size and grade of bolt do I need as a regular hitch pin will not work due to the threads on the rack.

Yakima produces a number of different 4-bike racks for 2-inch hitch receivers. We do offer replacement threaded hitch bolts to secure them to your receiver tube, but there are several varieties.

Most likely you can use part # Y8890176 since this fits a number of racks:

Yakima FlipSide, DoubleDown 2, DoubleDown 4, DoubleDown 5, BigHorn 4, DryDock, HoldUp, or SwingDaddy bike carriers.

If you have a different rack please advise and we'll find you the correct part.
