Do Hitches for 2022 Buick Encore GX Work with Handsfree Liftgate

My 2022 Buick Encore GX is equipped with a lift gate kick sensor. Is there a workaround for this or can the sensor be disabled? I rarely use it and have need to pull a small trailer to pick up supplies, etc.

Hey Ken, none of the hitches we offer for your 2022 Buick Encore GX were designed for versions of the vehicle that have the hands free liftgate. At this time there isn't a workaround we can help with at this time either so you'd have to be okay with losing the feature.
