Replacing Reese Revolution Pin Box with Gooseneck Adapter for Flat Bed Truck

Question:

I have cm short flat bed with a weld in gooseneck ball on a 2001 f250 . I have a Rockwood 5th wheel with a Reese revolution rotating pin box . Im needing a 5th wheel hitch that allows me to use the rotation pin box the demco 5th wheel to gooseneck looks like what I need but says not for rotating pin box so any recommendations

Hey Danny, what I would recommend is swap out the Reese Revolution for a fifth wheel to gooseneck pin box adapter since that would work directly with the gooseneck ball you have now. My parents have a flat bed truck similar to yours and this is what they did and it has worked well for them.

For that we have the Reese Goose Box part # RP85FR which has a 20k capacity and fits in place of Lippert pin box styles 1621, 1716, 0719, Rhino, and Fabex PB 600 series pin boxes. If the pin box is 12-1/2 inches wide you'd need the part # RP97FR with this and it then can also fit the following pin boxes:

Fabex 500 Series and 700 Series
Lippert 0115, 1116, and 1716 models
RBW 7019 and 70208 models
