Common Problems When Installing a Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2022 Infiniti QX60 Autograph

Question:
Bud we have a 2022 infinity qx60 It is the Autograph model. I read some problems about installing trailer hitches and it interfering with cameras and sensors? Thanks, Bruce

Bruce, a common problem found when you install a Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT67GR is the receiver will block part of the hands free lift gate sensor on your 2022 Infiniti QX60 Autograph. Typically this will not block the entire sensor so you may still be able to use the hands free liftgate. I personally have an Acura RDX and it only limits me to a particular area I have to perform the kick motion. We have not had the opportunity to install this or a similar receiver on your particular vehicle so we cannot say for sure of its operation. I have not heard of any issues regarding any cameras but I do know on several vehicles you will have to disable any rear collision avoidance as it thinks a trailer or bike rack could be an object you are about to hit.
